The Bangalore campus is led by M A Madan Kumar, a 34-year industry veteran who was founding director and first MD of a Kawasaki-Toyota JV and Group CEO of a â‚ą3,300 Cr Malaysian conglomerate.
Madan Kumar holds a degree in Automobile Engineering, a postgraduate qualification in Global Marketing, a certification in Finance, and a specialisation in Hydraulics. He ran a healthcare software company, Logosoft Technologies, in the United States from 2000 to 2007 before returning to India to take on one of the most demanding leadership roles in Indian industry.
He served as Group CEO of MK Tron, a Malaysian conglomerate with a turnover of â‚ą3,300 crore, where he was also the founding director and first Managing Director of a joint venture between Kawasaki Industrial Corporation and a Toyota component supplier, manufacturing engine and transmission parts for the Toyota Innova.
Over his career, Madan Kumar has worked and led businesses across Japan, USA, Germany, South Korea, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Mexico, Vietnam, France, and the UK. He returned to India with one clear observation: the gap between what engineering and business graduates know and what running a real business actually requires is enormous. VenturePrep was his answer to that gap.

Things People Ask Before Applying
Is this an online or offline program?
Fully offline and on-campus in Seshadripuram, Bangalore for the first 6 months. The final 6 months are hybrid, so students from outside Bangalore get some flexibility. You cannot do this from your hometown, relocation is required.
Do I get a degree?
Optionally yes. A VTU-recognised 1-year PGDME (MBA equivalent) is available at an additional 20% fee paid directly to the university. Most students focus on the skills and the business outcome, the degree is a bonus, not the point.
What if I've already done an MBA?
Then you already know the theory. This is where you learn what your MBA skipped, how to actually run a business in India.
My parents are doubtful. What do I tell them?
Show them this: the program guarantees a personalised family succession roadmap. They invested decades into their business. We make sure it doesn't go to waste in the transition to you.
What about housing?
No hostel on campus, but we have tie-ups with nearby PGs at different price points. Students pick what fits their budget.
What about funding for my startup?
We first teach you to run lean, with your own money and skin in the game. Once ready, we have an MOU with CEDAT for seed funding support and connections to Series A investors through Accel Partners.
